He further emphasized that the signal was completely accidental, happening amid the excitement following the team’s final touchdown. “I just showed the incorrect digit,” he noted. “It was accidentally done. This is sincere. Should you call it accidental, you can. However, it got resolved rapidly.”

This incident isn’t the first time an NFL owner has been penalized for misconduct. Recent examples include:
- Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper was fined $300,000 for tossing a beverage at spectators in early 2024.
